Learning
Objectives:
1. Understand how this unique, emergent form of evidence can
be used for civil litigation and e-discovery.
2. Discover how law
enforcement is using social media in criminal cases and how criminal defense
attorneys can use it to defend clients.
3. See social media evidence
recovered from smart phones, personal computers, and the cloud.
4. Learn the ethics of social media evidence collection
including the application of professional responsibility rules and bar
association opinions explaining what you can and cannot do, if you want to keep
your license that is.
