am. The program begins at 12 noon.
Program:
This continuing legal education program
will discuss student loan debt and, in particular, the current status of efforts
to have it forgiven under public service programs or discharged in
bankruptcy. This program will then explore how these issues could be
affected by proposed action from the 2020 presidential candidates. We will
discuss what the candidates are proposing, how it would affect current and
future student loan debt, and whether the proposals could realistically be
enacted.
