Event Description
Deadline to RSVP: November
7, 2019
As newer lawyers we are building skills constantly and one
of them is writing. This
workshop is an opportunity to receive feedback on how to improve your written
arguments and fact patterns to present concise and persuasive information to your reader.
We will be led by Karin Ciano, a top legal writer and workshop
leader. The session will be seminar style where participants are encouraged to bring in
a piece of writing to receive feedback. Whether you bring a brief or pleading, please
be sure this is a document that can be shared in public. The limit for
the workshop is 10 people, so please RSVP by November 7 to secure your
spot!
After the event, interested
members of the group will move over to the HCBA All
Member Social at The Marquette Hotel's Jolliet Event Space, free for HCBA members from 5:00-7:00
pm.
