Event Description
Lunch and registration will start at 11:45
a.m. The CLE program will begin at 12:00 noon.
Program:
Social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid search campaigns can
be attractive marketing tools for pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
They typically don’t require a large investment of time/resources or money, you
can instantly communicate with millions of potential patients/customers, and
these channels offer flexibility in selecting a targeted audience. Although
these beneficial tools may help your brand “go viral” with potential customers,
they also carry risk if used improperly.
This CLE event focuses on the following topics:
- Overview of FDA social media-related guidance
documents;
- Social media and web-related enforcement examples and
trends; and
- Valuable insights and best practices on how to avoid
common pitfalls when using social media.
