Join the Social Security Disability Law
Section for a brown bag lunch session to discuss various practice-related
topics. These roundtable brown bag discussions are an informal forum for
you to discuss issues and ask questions of other practitioners. Please bring at
least one topic you would like to discuss concerning your practice. Topics can
be narrow or broad and can be about anything you have experienced, questioned,
or otherwise want to run past your colleagues.
Example topics include difficulty with
payments (and any tips to get them faster), the benefits of pre-hearing briefs,
prepping clients for hearing testimony, cross-examining ME’s and VE’s, issues
with the SSA online ERE system, and the likelihood objecting to VTC’s will go
away soon.
