The panelists will discuss the current
law regarding recovery of attorneys’ fees and costs in probate court proceedings,
including the differing legal standards and procedures required for recovery in probate, trust,
and guardianship and conservatorship litigation. The panelists will address recent developments, such as
the Lund case, and common pitfalls. Along with an
examination of applicable statutes, case law, and court rules, the panelists will
share their practical insights and current trends they are seeing in
the courts with respect to fee requests.
