Event Description
Deadline to Register: 06/11/19
With continued reports of abuse and
even death among asylum seekers in custody, local practitioners and clinical
students have responded by volunteering their time at various detention centers
along the US/Mexico border. Join us for a lively panel discussion from
immigration attorneys and law students returning from volunteer rotations. Learn
about what they witnessed, how they handled it, and how you can get involved.
Please join us after the program for
complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages and networking with colleagues from
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
