ground level of the MSBA office building in the City Center. The
conference space is the APEX Training Room.
Program:
This CLE will break down the recent
(March ’19) Covidien (ev3) settlement which involved alleged violations of
the Anti-Kickback Statute; False Claims Act; and Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act;
among other laws. Mark Gardner, MBA, JD, President of Gardner Law and former
ev3 Product Manager, who is well acquainted with the case details, will dissect
this qui tam case. He and Heather Potter, Associate Attorney, Gardner Law,
will provide attendees with solutions to help mitigate and address compliance
concerns and risks illustrated by this recent whistleblower case.
