Event Description
Attorneys representing noncitizens in family court often
encounter impacts on their clients’ immigration status. Immigration
attorneys sometimes don’t realize the family law impact of immigration
actions. This CLE will review common issues encountered in both areas of
law and how the panelists have addressed them in their practice. Topics
range from loss of dependent status, conditional green cards, foreign assets,
Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and custody. Join us before the program for
an opportunity network with your colleagues. Appetizers and
beverages will be provided.
