Lunch will be provided. Registration will begin
at 11:30 am. The program will begin at noon.
According to Rule 1.1, comment 8, Minnesota
attorneys are now expected to know the benefits and risks associated with technology
in their practice. This one-hour session will review our
ethical obligations when it comes to technology and provide tips for ensuring
compliance. While probate and estate planning examples will be used, this
session will apply across all practice areas.

Richard Baum, Partner, Hawke Law
Group
Richard has practiced law in both
the public and private sectors, and he has business experience building,
managing and marketing products. He enjoys technology but his ideal time away
from the office is spent outdoors with as few battery-powered gadgets as
possible. In his spare time he enjoys camping, cycling, and playing in a
brass band.
He has a BA from the University of Iowa, JD from William
Mitchell, and MBA and University of St. Thomas
