On-site registration will begin at 11:30 am. The program will begin at
noon.
This session will cover the basic Veterans
Benefits that every elder law attorney should be aware of including VA Medical
benefits, Service and Non-Service Connected Pensions, Minnesota Veterans Home
and Home and Community Based Benefits. You will learn eligibility criteria for
each program, tips on directing clients on accessing benefits as well as how
this might integrate in a broader elder care plan.
Participants bring their
lunches to the presentation. However, lunch will not be provided.
