CLE Program:
This CLE
will tackle three main topics: (1) Distinguishing different types of violence
and that can arise in the context of ADR; (2) How a history of violence may
impact your clients' cognition; and (3) The Post-Separation Power & Control
"Wheel," an info-graphic which metaphorically connects the features of a wheel
(i.e., spokes, rim, etc.) to aspects of post-separation intimate partner
violence. Maureen Erickson-Robertshaw will speak from her wide range of
experiences as a domestic violence advocate (she has advocated for both abusers
and the abused), family law mediator, custody evaluator, parenting consultant
and parenting time expeditor. Alex S. Glassmann, Esq., works as exclusively as a
client-centered mediator, specializing in divorce and family
disputes.
