Howard and Lynn will go through the basics of how real
property is valued, including the three approaches to value
and the various property rights that are commonly valued (e.g.,
fee simple vs. leased fee). They will also highlight unique valuation issues applicable to
both condemnation and property tax appeals, and provide a brief overview
of the appeals process for each.
Tax Law Section meeting will be held
immediately prior to the CLE program at 2:30PM. All Section members are welcome
to attend. To attend the meeting remotely, dial 1-877-226-9607 and use
