The January CLE is at Stinson
Leonard Street LLP in downtown Minneapolis. Please note
that the ADR Section holds a business meeting at 12 Noon prior to the
CLE program that starts by 12:15 pm. Lunch is brown bag, however, light refreshments
will be provided.
CLE Program:
Mediation
has evolved since ADR was first mandated in Minnesota state court in 1994. Joint
sessions and opening statements are less common; double-blind mediation and
mediator proposals are increasingly used; and guided mediation is a new trend in
complex litigation. Our panel of prominent mediators will discuss these
developments and other trends and innovations.
