Cody Zustiak, Winthrop and
Weinstine, P.A., and Alethea Huyser, Assistant Solicitor General with the
Minnesota Attorney General's Office, will speak about appealing agency
decisions, with topics ranging from quasi-judicial decisions to final decisions
following a contested case proceeding. Mr. Zustiak will speak on topics
such as what agency decisions are appealable, timelines for filing appeals, and
what evidence is considered at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Ms. Huyser
will provide tips on appellate advocacy in administrative matters and discuss
recent notable appellate decisions impacting agency
decision-making.
Registration will begin at
7:45 a.m. Coffee and pastries will be served.
