Breakfast and registration will start at 7:30 a.m. The CLE
program will begin at 8:00
a.m.
During this session you
will learn about recent national policy developments relating to digital health,
and how those policy decisions are impacting health care delivery. Faegre
Baker Daniels Consulting Director, Megan Herber, will begin by discussing
changes in federal policy impacting telehealth, including insights based on her
recent experience as a Legislative Director on health care policy issues for
U.S. Representative Doris Matsui. She will focus on changes relating to
telestroke reimbursement, prescribing controlled substances, and virtual visits
addressed in the Medicare physician fee schedule rule. Shira Hauschen, Managing
Principal of Dorsey Health Strategies, will then discuss how some of these
policy developments related to digital health have been implemented by
providers.
