A Watchful Eye- Inspection and Testing on Construction Projects

"Inspection” is the examination and testing of construction during contract performance or before acceptance to determine compliance with contract requirements.  This presentation will cover an inspector’s authority; the owner’s right to strict compliance with the specifications; the contractor’s right to extra compensation for improper inspections; testing and sampling; acceptance criteria; and an inspector’s potential liability to the contractor and other third parties.

Speaker:

Bob Huber | Bob Huber retired from Stinson Leonard Street in 2017 after 34 years as a construction lawyer.  Bob now limits his practice to serving as a mediator, arbitrator, and neutral in construction disputes.
