Andrew Birrell, Chair of
the MSBA Criminal Law Certification Board, will walk you through the essential
elements of the Criminal Law Certification Exam. This review course will prepare
you to take the exam the following week. Join us to ensure you are prepped and
ready to go!
The
review course will cover selected topics in the practice of criminal law in the
federal andMinnesota state courts. The topics will
include: constitutional, statutory and procedural aspects of the practice. There
will be particular discussion of Fourth, Fifth and Sixth amendment issues
together with some discussion of the ethical responsibilities involved in the
prosecution and defense functions.
