Large and small companies face the increasing probability of data breaches.
This program will discuss what actions management can take to mitigate the risk
of a breach and to limit the damage following a network intrusion. Topics
include Incident Response Teams, testing Incident Response Plans, employee
training, and the role of Cyber Insurance.
Lunch will be provided.

Melissa
Krasnow | Melissa Krasnow is a Partner at VLP Law Group. She
practices in the areas of domestic and cross-border privacy and data security,
technology transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Melissa advises companies
on privacy, data security and technology matters and the emerging area of cyber
governance, including responding to data breaches and data incidents, preparing
written information security programs (e.g., organizational and employee),
devising incident response plans and facilitating and participating in tabletop
exercises.
