Deadline
to Register: Monday, March 26,
2018
In one of its last actions in 2017, Congress passed a
comprehensive tax reform bill that will have significant implications for the
national and Minnesota utility industry. Now law, the bill provided for a
significant decrease in the federal corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%,
elimination of the corporate alternative minimum tax, and limitations on certain
deductions among many other changes.
The March CLE will focus on how the
new tax law will affect project developers and utilities. We are excited to have
guest presenter Kurt R. Rempe from Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. to present the
impact on the project development side and someone from Xcel Energy will discuss
how the changes will affect regulated utilities.
Please
join us for lunch beginning at Noon, followed by the program from 12:30 – 1:30
p.m.
Box
lunch will be provided. Special meal requests need to be received no
later than Monday, March 26.
