Deadline to Register: Monday, March 26,
2018
The
landlord-tenant relationship, which is by its nature both business and personal,
is often complex. Given this complexity, there are a number of things
practitioners should keep in mind when assisting clients who are considering
entering into a rental agreement, as well as during a tenancy and when ending a
tenancy. Communication is at the heart of navigating the landlord-tenant
relationship and can impact the relationship significantly, especially when
negotiating the terms of the agreement or addressing issues related to eviction,
habitability/repairs, and security deposit disputes. Information, best
practices, and strategies will be offered to put you in a position to best serve
your landlord and tenant
clients.
Lunch and registration will begin at 11:45 a.m.
Special meal
requests must be made by Monday, March 26.
The program will begin at
12:00 p.m.
