Deadline to Register: March
6, 2018
As trusts and estates lawyers, you
have to communicate with your clients
as well as a unique mix of non-clients. Those non-clients include family
members, accountants and other professionals, beneficiaries, etc. When disputes arise out of estate planning decisions,
or the actions of professional fiduciaries, these communications with non-clients can create thorny issues that can complicate
litigation.
We will identify some best practices to
consider as you manage your communications necessary to serve your
clients. We will also explain how the failure to think through these
issues on the front end can create additional risk and cost in
litigation.
Lunch will be provided. Registration
begins at 11:30 AM.
