will start at 11:45 am; the Annual Elections Meeting will begin at 12
Noon with the CLE program to follow at 12:15 pm.
Featuring lively litigators
from both the defense and plaintiff’s bar, this seminar will provide a thematic
overview of how standing law has developed in the year since the Supreme Court
decided Spokeo v. Robins. The seminar will focus on the practical impact
of the Court’s decision, identifying what kinds of cases have been most affected
by the Court’s ruling and discussing how standing jurisprudence has affected
both plaintiffs’ and defendants’ strategic decisions in day-to-day
litigation.
Section Annual
Meeting and Council Elections:
Prior to the program, the Consumer
Litigation Section will hold its annual meeting and elect new officers and
council members for the 2017-2018 term. All section members are encouraged to
attend the annual meeting.
