Paul Lurie on the Future of Construction Law Practice – What Clients Want

Event Description

Deadline to Register: December 19, 2016

Clients are not satisfied with the value they receive from lawyers who primarily use the unlimited time requirements  of courts and arbitrations systems. They ask: "Why should I pay for trial or hearing preparation when most construction cases settle on the courthouse steps?" "Why don't they settle earlier?" As a  long time member of  the national  construction law bar, Mr. Lurie was a major user of mediation and now serves as a mediator dedicated to achieving the early settlements. Attendees will learn techniques for making them more competitively attractive to construction industry clients. This program will also be of interest to newer lawyers interested in career planning.

Registration and lunch will begin at 11:45 a.m.
