Please join us Wednesday, September 21, to hear from the
Minnesota Public Utilities Commission’s new General Counsel, Tom Bailey.
After fourteen years in private practice at Briggs and Morgan, Tom joined the
Commission in March 2016, and is the first person to fill the newly created role
of General Counsel to the Commission. Tom will address his
responsibilities with respect to advising Commissioners and staff on the matters
that come before the Commission. He will also review the Commission’s
policies and practices with respect to Minnesota’s laws on open meetings, data
practices, and ex parte contacts.
Please
join us for lunch beginning at Noon, followed by the program from 12:30 – 1:30
p.m.
