Please join us for
the sixth Annual State of the Child Summit. Recent reports of
removal of children and alleged abuses in juvenile detention centers have highlighted the
placement of mentally ill and older foster children in corrections facilities. Join
us for a frank discussion of the interplay between child
protection, juvenile corrections, and mental health. We will explore strategies to untangle the
three, or alternatively, to make their symbiosis beneficial
to the children caught up in its grasp.
Breakfast and registration will begin at 8:00 a.m.
