Program Description:

In the Loper Bright case, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Chevron precedent, which served as the foundation for administrative law for 40 years.  In this new post-Chevron era, courts and practitioners are left wondering whether and how much deference to apply to administrative agency guidance. Professors Hickman and Marisam will offer their expert thoughts on potential paths forward, the developments and responses we anticipate following Loper Bright, and how the Supreme Court's administrative law jurisprudence affects practitioners across a range of practice areas – including, notably, tax.
