Many lawyers genuinely want to do pro bono work but avoid it because of various misunderstandings and assumptions about how it actually works. One of the biggest myths is about malpractice coverage. The reality is that virtually every provider carries insurance for volunteers. There are other myths, too. Learn what they are and why they are erroneous from a panel of pro bono service provider leaders.
