Event Description
Hosted and presented by the Tri-Bar Signature CLE
Committee . 2-Hour Standard CLE Program
Remote-only Participation | Live Zoom
Webinar
Program:
The last year brought significant changes to policing in
Minnesota. This CLE will explore some of those changes, including the adoption
of new rules regulating police officer licensure, a change in the way our state
handles disability claims for officers with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and
the approval of a far-reaching consent decree governing the operations of the
Minneapolis Police Department. The CLE will provide deeper context regarding the
legal background of these changes, well beyond the information presented in news
coverage of these events. As each of the panelists were directly involved in
these developments, this CLE will allow attendees insight into the underlying
process and reasons for these changes.
The Tri-Bar Signature CLE Committee invites all members
of the bar to learn more about these important
topics.
