Public Utilities Section 2021 Legislative Session Overview

Event Description

Remote participation only.

Please join us for a 2021 legislative overview and energy policy discussion.  Representative Jamie Long (61B), Chair of the House Energy Finance and Policy Committee will discuss what his priorities are for the 2021 legislative session and beyond.  After the presentation, we will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a dialogue with Chair Long and other members of the section.  This is a great opportunity for Public Utilities Section members to engage in direct dialogue with the officials most responsible for setting Minnesota energy policy.

Representative Jamie Long is serving his second term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.  Representative Long is Chair of the Climate and Energy Finance and Policy Committee and also serves on the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law, Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy, Redistricting, and Rules and Legislative Administration committees.  Representative Long has a B.A. from Carleton College and earned a J.D. from George Washington University.
