Handling Your First Domestic Abuse or Harassment Case

Deadline to Register: January 7, 2019

This CLE will provide an introduction to handling domestic abuse and harassment cases. We will compare and contrast Orders for Protection and Harassment Restraining Orders and learn the associated statutes, case law, rules, and burdens of proof. We will briefly address the interplay between domestic abuse and divorce/custody matters. We’ll also discuss practical strategies for handling these difficult and delicate cases.
