8:30 - 9:30      Future of Legal Research - In this moderated panel discussion, industry experts will discuss the current state of affairs and the future of legal research.

9:45 - 10:45    Ethics of Outsourcing Legal Work - Want to grow your firm? Historically, you could charge more or hire. But what if there was a third way? Technology facilitates access to high quality legal expertise at a surprisingly reasonable cost. Using freelance and contract legal help, you can do more work, grow your firm, and help more clients. But, as is the case with everything for a lawyer, it's important to be mindful of the business and, of course, ethical implications of working with freelance attorneys.  In this program, Greg Garman, Partner at Garman Turner Gordon LLP and Co-Founder of LAWCLERK (a marketplace for freelance legal help), will lay the business and ethical groundwork to help growth-driven attorneys understand how they can use freelance legal help to achieve their law firm business goals.

11:00 - 12:00  Advanced Legal Research - In this session we'll take a look at advanced legal research techniques and consider work that typically falls outside our conventional understanding of 'legal research' but which nevertheless represents common legal research needs.
