Event Description
Deadline to Register: November
26, 2018
Immigration-related litigation is booming in
our nation’s immigration courts. Occasionally, federal district courts and
state appellate courts must also decide issues relating to or impacting
immigration law. Asylum-seekers and immigrants seeking relief are often in need of
appellate pro bono representation before the Board of Immigration Appeals and federal
and state appellate courts. Join experienced public interest immigration lawyers
as well as volunteer attorneys, and learn about opportunities for you to serve as
a pro bono appellate lawyer.
Lunch and registration will
begin at 11:45 am. The program will begin at noon.
