7th District Bar Association Announces Results of Poll in Contested 7th Judicial District Court Race

September 4, 2024 — All 634 attorney members of the 7th District Bar Association were polled regarding the one contested district court race in the 7th Judicial District. 

The poll was held between August 19 and September 3, 2024. Approximately 22.6% of the membership voted. The Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) conducted the poll on behalf of the 7th District Bar Association, which covers Clay, Becker, Otter Tail, Douglas, Wadena, Todd, Stearns, Morrison, Benton and Mille Lacs counties. 

The purpose of the poll is to collect and make information available to the general electorate. This information, combined with voter guides, candidate questionnaires, news articles, and other sources, relates to contested judicial elections and can be considered by the public when deciding whom to vote for in the general election. The online poll was voluntary and conducted in a neutral and unbiased manner. The results of the poll do not constitute an endorsement of any candidate by the 7th District Bar Association or the MSBA.

    93.01% (133 votes);

    6.99% (10 votes) of the 143 total votes.
