11th District Bar Association and Range District Bar Association Announce Results of Poll on Contested 6th Judicial District Court Race

September 4, 2024 — A poll of all 339 attorney members of the 11th District and Range District Bar Associations was held regarding the one contested district court race in the 6th Judicial District. The poll was conducted between August 19 and September 3, 2024. Approximately 34.2% of the membership voted. The Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) conducted the poll on behalf of the 11th District Bar Association and Range District Bar Association, which together cover Carlton, Cook, Lake and St. Louis counties. The purpose of the poll is to collect and make information available to the general electorate. This information, combined with voter guides, candidate questionnaires, news articles, and other sources, relates to contested judicial elections and can be considered by the public when deciding whom to vote for in the general election. The online poll was voluntary and conducted in a neutral and unbiased manner. The results of the poll do not constitute an endorsement of any candidate by the MSBA, the 11th District Bar Association or the Range District Bar Association.
