With COVID-19 still raging,
many classrooms are operating virtually, and educators and parents need to
understand the privacy implications posed by virtual platforms their students and children are using
daily. This CLE will discuss relevant federal child privacy laws, provide
examples of how popular video conferencing platforms may be used by
schools, and offer some suggestions for parents on how to
protect their children’s privacy.
This CLE is approved for credit
through May 20, 2023.
