COVID-19 and
resulting government orders have dramatically impacted commercial landlords and tenants. The pandemic has led
to a rash of nonpayment-of-rent litigation and raised questions about how
attorneys should draft, interpret, and enforce commercial leases, as well as
how both tenants and landlords can try to anticipate pandemic-related
issues in new contracts.
