in the first trial pilots and other contested hearings believe you need to know.
We will also look at how hearings have been expanding in counties during July
and what to expect in August, and discuss ethical obligations and traps for the
unwary under remote hearings and the new limitations at
courthouses.
First Hour
What's happening and what's coming: an
overview of jury trials across the counties, and how different counties are
handling expanded hearing types and proceedings.
Second Hour
Minnesota
jury trials have begun. Here's what we've learned. A panel of practitioners who
have participated in social distanced jury trial pilots and other contested
hearings
in June and July will discuss what you need to know and the
challenges posed by these proceedings to the parties involved.
