Recent Changes in Social Security Disability Practice: A Discussion with Chief Judge Richard Thrasher

Event Description

Register Online by October 14 or at the Door Tuesday October 16.  

Judge Thrasher will discuss recent changes to the representatives’ Code of Conduct and the impact these changes will have on attorney-representatives. The event will also include a question-and-answer session. Please email anomymous questions in advance to Co-Chair Adam Spees by October 9th. Click here to email. Minneapolis Hearing Office Chief Judge Richard Thrasher

Richard Thrasher serves as the Hearing Office Chief Administrative Law Judge in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, Hearing Office, Office of Hearings Operations, Social Security Administration.  He has served as a judge with Social Security in Minneapolis since 2012, and as the Chief Judge since 2014.  Judge Thrasher received a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College, and a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline College of Law.  Prior to his appointment as an Administrative Law Judge, Judge Thrasher was with the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, United States Department of Veterans Affairs, in Washington, DC, for 21 years, serving as the Chief Counsel for Policy and Procedure.
