New Tax Law and Its Implications to Family Law Practitioners

This program will cover highlights and changes brought about by the new Federal tax law and what family law practitioners need to know.

This meeting will also serve as the Section's Annual Meeting and elections for the 2018-19 Section Council.

Presenter:

Dax V. Stoner, CPA, ABV, CFF

Dax is a CPA, financial consultant, mediator, and expert witness specializing in simple to complex financial litigation cases, primarily in the area of divorce and family law.  Dax frequently serves as a Court-appointed financial expert to assist judges, attorneys and parties in resolving marital and non-marital asset/debt valuation and allocation, income determination, child support and spousal maintenance issues.  Dax serves as an FENE evaluator, a court-appointed Rule 706 neutral financial expert and is designated as a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
