The Evolving Landscape of Pay Equity Litigation and Legislation

Event Description

Deadline to Register: November 30, 2017

State and local governments have recently jumped ahead of the federal government in enacting the toughest pay equity protections ever.  This is occurring during the same period of time that the federal government has rolled back the proposed EEO-1 reporting requirements for employers, while the EEOC pushes ahead with three new lawsuits under the Equal Pay Act.  Moreover, the plaintiff bar has taken a heightened interest in bringing pay equity cases in the wake of several blockbuster settlements and new employee-friendly legal standards.

The panelists will update you on the status of federal, state and local equal pay laws, significant litigation and settlements and emerging trends to assist you in representing your clients on how to navigate through this cutting-edge area of employment law.

Registration and lunch begin at 11:45 am.  The program will begin at Noon.
