Deadline to Register: November 12,
2015
"Structured" dismissals—dismissals of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases conditioned
upon terms agreed to in advance by stakeholders and approved by the court—have
grown in use and popularity to resolve a bankruptcy case. They are, however, not
without controversy. The presenters will address whether a "structured"
dismissal of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case can be a viable alternative to
confirmation of a plan or conversion of the case to a liquidation under Chapter
7.
