Community Solar Gardens – Opportunities and Challenges

Event Description

Deadline to Register: November 16, 2015

In 2013, the Minnesota Legislature passed a unique law allowing for community solar gardens, which sell electricity generated from solar energy to subscribers who purchase a given portion of its output. This arrangement allows for broader consumption of solar energy by the public.  Learn more about Minnesota’s community solar garden statute from a distinguished panel of energy law attorneys.  The panel will provide an update on the statute’s implementation and address issues yet to be resolved.

Please join us for lunch beginning at Noon, followed by the program from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

Box lunch will be provided.  Special meal requests need to be received no later than Friday, November 13.
