This CLE will focus on the recent Minnesota Court of Appeals decision, State v. Turner, addressing Minnesota’s criminal defamation statute and revenge porn. Learn perspectives from the criminal defense attorney of record and a senior attorney at the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project.

Presenters will cover: 

     • Background of the criminal defamation issue
     • State v. Turner - background, holding, and future applications 
     • What to expect going forward
     • The Minnesota End Revenge Porn Working Group

Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and the presentation will begin at 9:00 a.m.
