Puppy Mills are commonly understood as "bad," but what are they exactly? Where are they found in Minnesota, and what economic incentives sustain them? This presentation will offer a brief history and description of "pupp ymill" dog breeding businesses in Minnesota, including legislative and enforcement history, with a conversation about the economic incentives driving irresponsible breeding practices and what can be done about them.
Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. The program will begin at noon.
