FCC Liability Lurks for the Unwary in M&A

Event Description

Deadline to Register: February 9, 2015

Non-telecommunications businesses increasingly rely on telecommunications technologies, many of which are subject to FCC licenses. Companies utilize technology to control their business operations and production processes, protect worker and public safety and respond quickly to emergencies. The FCC licenses associated with internal communications are easily overlooked in the process of merging or acquiring assets and businesses. This CLE will discuss the FCC’s requirements for the transfer of licenses, best practices for due diligence and the potential liability for mistakes.

Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 am. The program will begin at noon.
