Minnesota Employer Retaliation Laws: Many Traps for the Unwary

A myriad of state statutes grant rights to Minnesota employees and  prohibit employer retaliation against employees for exercising those rights.  These laws also impose penalties on employers who do not comply. This program  will provide an overview of  many of the lesser-known ones, as well as a variety of other lesser known obligations imposed on employers under Minnesota law. Even very experienced practitioners will find something new in this program!

Registration will begin at 11:30am. The program will begin at 12:00pm.

This is a brown bag session. Feel free to bring your own lunch. Dessert and beverages will be provided.

Presenters:
Mary Martin is a 1981 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School.  An MBSA-certified Labor and Employment Specialist, she works primarily with employers in the health and human services field.  She practices with the Gray Plant Mooty firm in Minneapolis.
