Deadline to Register: March 9, 2015
Which Rules of Professional Conduct apply to a lawyer
acting as trustee? Rule 8.4(d) on “conduct prejudicial to the
administration of justice?” The trust account rules, or just some of them? What about the
conflict rules? How do the Rules relate to fiduciary duties? Cases
before the Minnesota Supreme Court and the Lawyers Board answer these questions
in ways that lawyer-trustees find surprising. This CLE will discuss these cases,
as well as practical concerns for the lawyer-trustee.
Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. The program will begin at 12:00 p.m.
