Event Description

Deadline to Register:  October 13, 2014

Evolving environmental regulations under section 111(d) of the Clean Air Act greatly impact resource planning and resource adequacy in the upper Midwest region.  FERC Order No. 1000 sets a new foundation for regional transmission planning processes and cost allocation.  Marya White, Regional Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs for the Mid-Continent Independent System Operator, will address current efforts within MISO to address the new regulatory framework and what lies ahead for states, utilities and MISO itself.

Please join us for lunch beginning at Noon, followed by the program from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

Box lunch will be provided.  Special meal requests need to be received no later than Friday, October 10, 2014.
