have agreed to serve on a nonprofit board!
Now what? This session will
provide an overview of the fiduciary duties that every nonprofit board member
should understand. We will also
discuss the most common legal issues facing lawyers who agree serve as volunteer
directors for a nonprofit corporation, and review applicable ethics rules. The session materials will include a
checklist of questions to ask before you agree to nonprofit Board service.
This
is a brown-bag lunch. Water and
soft drinks will be provided.
